Supporting Worthy Causes
Our Charity Quiz Nights have helped support several local organizations that make a difference in our community:
The Old Mill Foundation: This incredible organization is working tirelessly to set up a new centre in the Village to provide vital support to individuals and families in need. Their upcoming centre will offer a welcoming space for those who rely on their services, and we are honoured to have played a small part in helping them achieve this goal.
The Gowerton Cricket Club Hardship Fund: We’ve also had the privilege of supporting the Gowerton Cricket Club Hardship Fund, which helps provide financial assistance to ensure that local players can continue enjoying the sport they love.
The Under 12s Rugby Club: Supporting the next generation of athletes is important to us, and we were thrilled to contribute to the Under 12s Rugby Club, helping them access equipment and resources to thrive both on and off the field.
How It Worked
Throughout the year, we invited our guests to form teams, put their trivia skills to the test, and join us for fun and purposeful evenings. Here’s how it worked:
Teams contributed a small entry fee, with all proceeds going directly to the featured charity of the evening.
Each night featured raffles, auctions, and other small fundraising activities to boost the total raised.
The support of our patrons made a meaningful impact in helping these organizations move closer to their goals.
It was a simple but effective way to enjoy an evening out while supporting meaningful causes.
Building Awareness and Community Spirit
